After 30 years in the property and PR industries, our MD Nikki Ackerley is launching The Nikki Gritti, her very own blog which shares the loves and lessons of a life in these industries.
Swapping carefully-crafted client narratives for her own, Nikki is going to be sharing her opinions and thoughts on a whole range of property topics. After all, there’s plenty to dissect and divulge after a lifetime of showhome visits, event management, planning consultations, home moves and award entries written with her famous nitty-gritty attention to detail.
Just in time for Valentine’s Day, the first topic is one close to her heart, the utility room. For more on why this space is so often overlooked in new homes and why Nikki cherishes hers so dearly, make sure you head over and read the full article!
Nikki Ackerley started her career in property as the property correspondent of The Surrey Advertiser in 1991, a role which lasted 15 years during which time she was awarded Regional Property Journalist of the Year. Alongside this, she founded Property House Marketing, a property public relations and marketing agency. Since moving into her first flat share in London’s East End at the age of 19, she has lived in nine homes – four rented, and five the subject of major renovations and refurbishment. She currently lives in a Grade II listed Georgian townhouse in the centre of Guildford with a large utility room.
