Brief

Create widespread trade, local and national editorial media coverage to generate sales enquiries for The French Horn in Sonning; this landmark venue, on the market for the first time in 50 years, has been the favoured destination for the rich and famous over the decades.

Campaign

We knew the hook for the campaign was the hotel’s rich history and the rarity of this exciting opportunity; this formed the basis of our written media materials along with all the relevant details of the sale and market insight from the expert agents instructed to sell the property. For such a special listing, widespread coverage was a must. We targeted the national property supplements as well as local and regional print and broadcast media; we also worked alongside our commercial PR partners to ensure a cohesive distribution among trade and hospitality titles.

Results

  • National coverage included The Telegraph, Daily Express and BBC News, as well as Country Life.
