PHM welcomes broadcaster Peter Gordon to our consultant team, extending our scope of services to include media training, presenting, event management and hosting, and company culture training.
A consummate performer, event host and accomplished interviewer, Peter’s career spans more than 30 years; he was the Content Director, voice (and indeed the public face) of Eagle Radio, broadcasting to Surrey and Hampshire, which was the leading commercial radio station for audience reach in one of Europe’s busiest and competitive radio markets of more than 70 radio stations. He also hosted the radio station’s breakfast show for 25 years.
As one of the original employees of the ground-breaking UKRD Radio Group, which prided itself on a supportive company culture – winning the “Sunday Times Best Company to Work For” award many times – Peter actively promotes the importance of strong cultural values in business to help inclusivity and staff engagement.

Peter’s career has also seen him step out from behind the microphone with a large number of professional theatre performances behind him; he has been one of the leading actors in the annual Christmas pantomime at Guildford’s Yvonne Arnaud Theatre and is also part of its board of trustees. Peter has similarly appeared in productions for the Princes Hall in Aldershot, and the New Victoria Theatre in Woking. He also played the part of the notorious ‘Falstaff’ in the Guildford Shakespeare Company’s open air Merry Wives of Windsor. He has been the host and Master of Ceremonies at numerous events throughout Surrey including Guildford’s annual Christmas Light-Switch On, The Olympics Torch Relay that passed through the town, the Armed Forces Day and Guilfest – the town’s music festival. Peter has also chaired many public forums across the Surrey and Hampshire area – including discussing the live music scene in Guildford, the future of the West End Centre in Aldershot and the impact of the Sheerwater development in Woking.
