Take a selfie with #GloriousGuildford to win a meal for two at CAU

When we ‘herd’ CowParade was coming to Surrey, we jumped on board to take up the chance to sponsor a cow in support of one of our favourite charities – Challengers. In our recent blogs, we have documented the arrival of our cow at our talented Ockham-based artist Colette Clegg’s studio, the decoration process and her debut at the Surrey County Show.

If you keep up to date with the local ‘moos’, you might have spotted Glorious Guildford in Guildford’s Castle Grounds. Glorious Guildford is lucky enough to be spending her summer enjoying the beautifully landscaped gardens, and acting as a point of conversation for the many tourists and local residents who enjoy spending time here.

We are currently running a selfie competition. The person who takes the ‘moost mootiful’ or ‘amoosing’ photo with Glorious Guildford will win a meal for two at CAU Guildford, up to the value of £100. To be in with a chance, all you have to do is upload your selfie to either Facebook, Twitter or LinkedIn – make sure to use #GloriousGuildford! So pay Glorious Guildford a visit at Guildford’s Castle Grounds and don’t forget to post, tweet and share!

The deadline for the selfie competition is 31st July, so make use of the hot weather while you still can. You can find Glorious Guildford in Guildford Castle Grounds until the morning of the 30th July, when she’ll be temporarily moved to nearby the cafe at Newlands Corner for the Prudential RideLondon-Surrey 100 cycle event.

After the cycle event, Glorious Guildford will remain at the Guildford Castle Grounds until the end of August when the cows will be gathered up for their final public appearance at the Surrey Hills Food, Drink & Music Festival at Coverwood Farm on September 3rd, after which they will go to auction.

We will continue to ‘milk it’ by documenting the journey of our cow, so make sure you stay tuned to our blogFacebook, Twitter and LinkedIn for more ‘udderly’ exciting updates!
