‘Glorious Guildford’ gets the Challengers seal of approval

CowParade is one of the world’s most popular public art events, so when we ‘herd’ it was coming to Surrey, we jumped on board to take up the chance to sponsor a cow in support of one of our favourite charities – Challengers. If you’ve been following our recent blogs, you would have seen the great progress that the cow decoration has been making. We’ve really been milking it!

Today, Nikki Ackerley, managing director of Property House Marketing, took Laura Sercombe, CEO of Challengers, to visit our CowParade cow in all her glory. She said:

“We’ve decided to call our cow Glorious Guildford – after all it says what it is perfectly. Laura and I love the way that the colours give our cow a clear link to Challengers, and it’s really captured the best of Guildford’s heritage.”

Now that Glorious Guildford has both PHM and Challengers’ seal of approval, the only thing left for the happy heifer is to get three coats of varnish before it makes its official debut at the Surrey County Fair at Stoke Park, Guildford, this Bank Holiday Monday.

We will continue to document the journey of our cow from conception to auction, so make sure you stay tuned to our blog page, Facebook, and twitter for more udderly exciting updates!
