So Resi Totteridge

The best of both worlds: So Resi Totteridge offers urban village living and excellent city connections

Combining journey times of just 25 minutes to King’s Cross St Pancras with the allure of urban village living, So Resi Totteridge really does offer the best of both worlds. The development is a brand new collection of stylish one, two and three-bedroom apartments, launching on 25th January and available to purchase through shared ownership – a dream come true for homebuyers looking for affordability in this sought-after North London location.

Prices start at just £103,750 for a 25 per cent share of a one-bedroom apartment (full price £415,000), requiring a five per cent deposit of just £5,187.50. Buyers then simply take out a mortgage to cover their share and pay So Resi a monthly payment on the share they do not own.

The homes are ideally located on Totteridge’s vibrant high street and are thoughtfully designed for contemporary and convenient living. The bright open-plan living/dining area is perfect for both relaxing and entertaining, whilst the fully-fitted kitchen comes complete with modern, integrated appliances. The two and three-bedroom apartments all benefit from an en-suite shower room to the master bedroom.

The development boasts landscaped courtyards for residents to enjoy and many of the homes benefit from a private balcony or patio, providing additional outdoor space. A cycle store is available to all residents and allocated parking spaces are provided on selected homes. Residents also benefit from a concierge service, a service not often available with shared ownership apartments.

Commuting to Central London couldn’t be easier from Totteridge and Whetstone tube station, which is just 450m from the development; journey times to King’s Cross St Pancras take as little as 25 minutes, while services reach Camden Town in 20 minutes and Bank in 33 minutes.

Across town with the costs down!

News hit last week that millions of rail users in the UK will see the price of regulated rail fares rise by up to 3.6% this month. With commuters said to be the worst-hit by the increase, which is the highest since January 2013, we’ve taken a look at homes ideally located near alternative modes of transport which provide more beneficial routes in to work both financially and in terms of health.

Trinity Walk by Lovell Homes is situated in Woolwich, South East London meaning you can fly to work via the Emirates Air Line, which provides a cable car link across the River Thames between the Greenwich Peninsula and the Royal Victoria Docks. This quirky mode of transport is operated by Transport for London and the duration of a single crossing is reduced to just five minutes in rush hour. Prices start at £3.50 per ticket each way, which equates to just £161 per calendar month if there is the maximum of 23 working days in the month. If you’re afraid of heights, why not take the River Bus Express, which operates from 20 piers between Putney and Woolwich. Your journey is made even easier now you can use contactless or Oyster cards to pay.

The homes at Chiswick Gate, which are available through shared ownership with Thames Valley Housing, are conveniently located to give residents access to a wide number of cycle paths in and around Chiswick. These paths provide residents with an alternative and active route in to work, and is also both economical and environmentally friendly, plus you can ride by Chiswick House and Gardens for a more scenic route.

So Resi has its share this Shared Ownership Week

The past seven days has been devoted to Shared Ownership Week (SOW); an awareness week dedicated to raising awareness of the homebuying scheme by showcasing an abundance of useful information for hopeful homebuyers. This was achieved through articles published in Metro, Time Out and City AM as well as through social media campaigns on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.

Shared Ownership Week, now in its sixth year, was the ideal opportunity for our client Thames Valley Housing (TVH), which this month launched So Resi – its brilliant new brand for its shared ownership homes, to reach as many people as possible.

Tapping into the misconceptions and lack of understanding surrounding shared ownership, which often prevents people from taking advantage of the scheme, Thames Valley Housing created So Resi with the aim to improve understanding, change perception and increase awareness of shared ownership and break down the barriers to home ownership.

With a concerted effort from the PHM team to maximise every PR opportunity as part of the sponsored awareness week, So Resi has been featured in a wide range of traditional and digital publications and platforms. The content includes testimonials from So Resi homebuyers, announcements of So Resi’s new developments, Q&As with TVH’s commercial director, Kush Rawal, as well as Twitter ‘takeovers’ and promoted posts through Facebook.

To find out how PHM can support your new brand launch through traditional and digital PR campaigns, speak to a member of the team today on 01483 561119.
