Happy New Year from the PHM team!

We hope you all had a restful Christmas break! The whole team here had a fantastic time with family and friends – some even managing to escape for some winter sun in warmer climates such as Australia and Borneo – the lucky things!

However, we are all very much looking forward to what the 2016 will bring, especially as we have a host of new clients; we start the year welcoming Lendlease, Fetcham Park, Drawing and Talking and Chantries.

Lendlease is a multinational property and infrastructure company delivering state the art buildings and infrastructure, alongside creating vibrant residential communities, workplaces and retail destinations and we are pleased to be assisting them with a host of awards for 2016, which includes both corporate and development specific entries.

We’re also very excited to be working with Fetcham Park, an award-winning wedding venue in Leatherhead, Surrey – as although not typical of our usual clientele it’s still very much property-related, especially with the PR work they’d like us to do to help promote the elegant and modern, refurbished offices in the Grade II* listed house.

Drawing and Talking, is a safe and therapeutic method of working with children who have underlying emotional difficulties and is an interesting and worthwhile project for us all to get stuck into and help promote.

The word marriage has a nice ring to it!

Putting aside PR for one moment – this is an extra special blog post to announce that our managing director, Nikki Ackerley, married her other half, Ian Gibbon, in a truly wonderful ceremony at the historical and rather magical Loseley Park, near Guildford, at the weekend.

Being so close to Christmas, it really was an amazing atmosphere, and the couple had one of the best days of their lives, which you can probably tell from the smiles on their faces in the photo!

Thankfully, the wedding day went without a hitch, except for the days leading up to the ceremony when a lost dress caused quite a bit of drama! No it wasn’t the wedding dress but another emerald green number, also by designer to the stars Suzannah, which Nikki had intended to wear at a celebratory lunch the day after the wedding.

Arriving back at the office after her final dress fitting just three days before the wedding, she realised that the ‘day after’ dress had disappeared somehow on the way. Thankfully, after a couple of rough nights bearing the elements, the dress turned up a few days later in good condition, in an alleyway near PHM HQ, in what can only be described as a miracle! Scandi-inspired show apartments at Network Living’s Nordic Quarter development in Colindale

The show apartments have just opened to prospective buyers looking to purchase at the Nordic Quarter development, which comprises 108 one, two, three and four-bedroom apartments. The scheme is already making its mark in this up-and-coming area of London, due to its progressive design credentials and creative approach to urban apartment living. Each apartment has private outdoor space as well as allocated parking – a rarity for London new builds.

Prime Place gets the green light to deliver a new football stadium and 648 new homes in Brentford

Prime Place, the private residential arm of Willmott Dixon, and its development partner Brentford Football Club have secured detailed planning consent from Hounslow Borough Council to deliver a new 20,000 capacity football stadium, together with 648 new homes, in Brentford.

Branded Prime Place, Kew Bridge, the homes will be in a mix of one, two and three-bedroom apartments and will offer high quality hotel-style living with facilities including a concierge service, private lounge/library and dining room, cinema, gym, and private landscaped gardens.

Substantial improvements to the public realm will include extensive landscaping and greenery across the site, new pedestrian and cycle routes – including dedicated and widened routes along Lionel Road South – retail outlets and on-site car and cycle parking.

Prime Place, Kew Bridge is the latest addition to Prime Place’s growing portfolio which includes a regeneration project to provide more than 1,100 homes at Aberfeldy Village in Poplar E14; the conversion of the former Tubbs Hill House in Sevenoaks; a partnership with Cheshunt School in Hertfordshire to deliver 88 new homes; 135 apartments and family houses in Godalming town centre, and a joint venture with Westminster City Council to deliver a state of the art new leisure centre, sports facility and 156 new homes.
